ELIZABETH PATERSON FROM
TYWYN IS CROWNED NLA
WALES PROPERTY WOMAN 2009
The NLA is pleased to announce that due to a flourishing property portfolio, financial success and personal achievements in the private-rented sector, Elizabeth Paterson from Tywyn has been crowned NLA Wales Property Woman 2009 at a prestigious awards ceremony in Central London.
Despite the adversity of the current market place, Elizabeth was judged to have shown determination and a savvy business approach making her a cut above the rest.
"I have to say I’ve been uplifted by the stories these awards have brought to light, and as far as I’m concerned female landlords like Elizabeth have confirmed what I’ve suspected for many years – women really are the best!” said property addict and face of the NLA Property Women Awards 2009, Melissa Porter.
David Salusbury, Chairman, NLA also added: “The aim of the NLA Property Women Awards was always to celebrate successful business women who are making their mark and transforming the property sector. However, through our search we found much more…we found people like Elizabeth who have gone that one step further and are now leading the way for female landlords of the future. This year’s winners have been amazing. I really can’t wait to see what amazing stories the 2010 awards will uncover.”
The NLA Property Women Awards 2009 were launched in April this year. The Awards were presented by property addict and TV presenter Melissa Porter, who has supported the Awards since their launch.
